The idea

Remember Thailand twenty years ago?

Quiet beaches, small roads, the same faces at the market every morning.

In many places that Thailand has disappeared under hotels and crowds. On Koh Mak it is still here, and we want to keep it that way. Koh Magic is a place to enjoy Thailand like in the past, made for people who come to stay rather than pass through.

Our work on the island has received several awards.

No high rise

Low buildings of four homes each, among the trees. No towers and no big resorts.

Made for long stays

Each home is leased for ten years, so Koh Mak can become your second home.

Things to do and learn

Already on the island: a pottery studio, a coral nursery where you can help replant the reef, and a sunset bar. More places for activities and learning are planned.

Like minded neighbours

We are looking for people who share the idea, who are calm, respectful and curious about island life.

One payment, ten years on the island.

  • Nothing is built yet. The first homes are planned for 2028.
  • Prices and dates are estimates while we plan the project. We confirm them before you commit to anything.

When you are away

Your home can earn while you are away.

When you are not on the island, you can rent your home out on Airbnb and similar sites and earn a return on your investment.

List your home, choose your dates and talk to your guests directly.

Our team lives on Koh Mak and takes care of your guests for you, as much or as little as you need.

Rental income depends on the season and is not guaranteed. We will share the management terms before you commit.
